LGD Korea Fair Trade Commission complained that Samsung QLED TV was suspected of false propaganda and misleading consumers. In the denunciation, LG pointed out that Samsung uses marketing tactics such as quantum dots (QD) to package its high-end TVs, which is actually just an LCD TV with a QD backlight board, not a genuine QLED display using quantum dot light-emitting diodes. .

 

LG also said at the time that Samsung TVs were inferior in marketing. In the early years, SUHD was used to promote high-end TVs, and after 2017, QLED was used. Because QLED and OLED are very similar, it also brings trouble to consumers.
