Sumitomo Chemical decided to build a new factory for making flexible AMOLED display touch panels. New plant site in Korea, the total investment is expected to reach 15 billion yen (about 132 million US dollars). Is expected to begin operation in 2018, with an annual capacity of 100 million.
According to Digitimes pointed out that Sumitomo currently in the overall AMOLED touch panel market share of 60% -70%, currently produces 400 million for rigid glass substrate AMOLED touch panel.
